More about my approach
I understand that it can feel really hard to take the step towards seeking professional help and talk to somebody about very personal difficulties. I will take great care to approach our therapeutic relationship with warmth, kindness, and compassion.
I am deeply committed to create a safe therapeutic space that is empowering and conducive to personal growth and self-exploration.
Together, we will explore your unique strengths, challenges, and life experiences, towards fostering deeper self knowledge and discovering ways to enhance your psychological well-being.

Experience
In addition to offering private therapy services to adults, families and children, I've had the privilege of working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in the NHS, spanning over 20 years.

I’m also currently employed as a senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Tutor and Clinical Supervisor on a Postgraduate Training Programme.

I’ve been a Clinical Supervisor and CBT Tutor for over 10 years and this role entails providing clinical supervision to mental health clinicians and designing/delivering postgraduate training in CBT.

I offer remote therapy by telephone or video. Remote therapy may be helpful if you require flexibility with location and time, and allows therapy to take place from home, work or on the move.
I also offer face-to-face therapy. I understand the importance of an office space where clients can feel comfortable.
My office is based in Westhoughton, Bolton.
