Assessment and Treatment
Initial therapy session
We will use most of our initial therapy session to talk about what has prompted you to seek support; the nature of your difficulties; how it developed; what may be keeping it going; and your hopes and goals.
You can ask any questions you may have about therapy or my approach. It is important that you find a therapist and approach that is a good fit for you.
Treatment
Based on what we discuss in the initial therapy session, we will decide on the best way forward and you may wish to book a subsequent appointment and proceed into treatment.
A course of treatment may vary between 6 to 20 sessions, although this can be shorter or longer depending on your unique difficulties, personal circumstances and therapy goals.
